Source evidence first

PWAs.app separates source-derived technical facts from editorial context. Automated scans provide manifest, page and capability evidence; people review publication decisions and corrections.

A generated profile may use the app's public HTML, web app manifest, declared icons, screenshots, shortcuts and official links. Each material technical fact is stored with its source, evidence type, confidence and observation time.

Two scores with different jobs

The technical score checks HTTPS, manifest validity, identity, launch URL, display mode, icon coverage, screenshots and visible service-worker signals. The profile-quality score measures whether there is enough source material for an informative, indexable catalog page. Neither score is a product endorsement.

Publication and indexing are separate

Weak or incomplete records remain drafts and emit noindex. Submitted apps require a moderation decision. A published profile can also be moved back to noindex when a later scan no longer provides enough evidence.

Verification labels are literal

Technically checked means that an automated source scan passed. Owner verified means that a signed-in owner proved control of the app's domain. Human reviewed means that a moderator made a publication decision. One label never implies another.

Corrections and freshness

Published and draft records are rescanned on a bounded schedule. Publishers can resubmit an updated URL or send a correction through the submission form. We refresh source-derived facts instead of inventing missing claims.
